In dark rooms and dark corners we often imagine all the terrors that are lurking and floating all around us. The unknown consistently makes us question our surroundings, asking us whether or not we are alone? With these Disembodied Bodies I wanted to replicate the feeling of being alone, in the dark, with inexplicably human like figures and shadows. There is nothing scarier than uncertainty, and the figures in this piece could be human, yet are abstracted enough to make you question whether they are truly there or not.
