Light is an essential part of everyday life, from the light seeping out of your windows early in the morning, to the artificial light from your phone when you’re preparing to fall asleep. This piece explores the unique experiences we go through on a day to day basis and how that influences our connections with each other. In Pathways these lights are absorbed and distorted when passing through my piece to express the heterogeneity of human consciousness. The two lighting elements shift hues and mix with each other to create a unique lighting effect at any given time. As humans we are all unique and different, but can connect through our collective experience of feeling these complex emotions harnessed through light.
