Since the outbreak of COVID-19, our lives have narrowed down to the limited space. Even our meetings could only happen in a box on the ZOOM. However, we realized that something was missing to share our feelings by only relying on the computer screen. A desire for an in-person meeting led our team to create a new type of full-scale communication to build up a strong connection regardless of our current location: Taipei and New York City. We wanted to release ourselves from the box and share our presence in the room, expecting to feel close and interactive beyond our physical distance. We did not need to spend our expense to get a costly three-dimensional camera for the setup. The only things we needed were easily accessible materials such as a magnifier lens, scrim, and mobile phone.
