We explore the essence of closeness through abstract representation. By utilizing reflections of light and shadow within a cylindrical hourglass form, we draw viewers toward a central focal point, evoking a sense of proximity and connection. The choice of paper as our primary material enhances this representation by encouraging tactile interaction, inviting individuals to engage physically with the project. Origami techniques further reinforce this theme, as the hands-on manipulation of paper fosters a meditative state and strengthens interpersonal bonds among participants. Ultimately, we anticipate that our design will intuitively draw individuals closer, both figuratively and literally, as they are naturally drawn toward the light.
