Carbon and global warming are killing the coral around the world. Even if global warming is limited to 1.5 degrees Celsius we will lose 70% of all coral. My project 'The End Of A Life' illustrates coral death first by bleaching white and then turning black. The process of the blackness seeping in is dramatic and unsettling begging the audience to consider human actions while evoking a sense of sadness and remorse. It captures the temporality and frailty of life as the fiery excited light is reduced to a dull grey glow.
