This floor lamp reimagines the ritual of lighting a candle as the ritual of opening it. Instead of being lit and consumed, the candle is reused and transformed into a source of diffused illumination. Designed at a larger scale, it preserves the intimacy of candlelight while offering a broader, more enveloping glow with soft transitions of warm light. The lamp features a metal body with a wax light sphere, set on a wooden platform that allows the metal structure to slide open and close.
