This project begins with the quiet remains of daily ritual in a study café: the tea bag left behind after a cup is finished. While tea evokes warmth and pause, these spaces are shaped by rigid corners and an abrupt brightness that favor productivity over comfort. By collecting and layering discarded teabags into translucent panels, the design filters light from within a wall corner, softening that ninety degree edge and allowing illumination to settle gently across the surface. The careful process of reuse reflects the time and intention required to create a welcoming atmosphere. With two dimmable panels, the light can shift from focused clarity to a subdued glow, echoing the slow steeping of tea. What was once an abrupt corner becomes a place where light, like tea, slowly settles.
