First Forms is a lamp inspired by the basic geometric shapes we first learn as children, using childhood memories as part of its material language. Referencing toys, classroom learning tools, and the playful aesthetic of Memphis design, the lamp reuses simple forms like cubes, spheres, and cylinders to create a functional lighting object. By bringing these familiar shapes into a new context, the design reflects the idea that something old can become new again. The composition focuses on bold forms and a sense of play, creating a piece that feels both nostalgic and contemporary.
