Colored light passes through a horse formed of wire and paper, catching on beads and rope to cast shifting shadows. Form dissolves within the light, and shadow emerges as a presence of its own. Inspired by the Year of the Horse(2026 in China is Year of horse), this project reimagines the traditional Chinese Zoumadeng through contemporary lighting design.
