The Daily Glow Floor Lamp is crafted from everyday recyclable grocery bags. As someone who cooks at home often, I tend to accumulate these bags and recycle them but I was inspired by the concept of adaptive reuse and chose to extend the life of these bags in an intentional way. I re-purposed the paper scraps to create this light fixture that reflects the essence of New York City's grocery culture, an important part of my daily routine and New Yorker's alike.
