Water, in its pure form, is older than the planet we live on. It mimics the flow of time through its continuous movement, never static, always transforming between different states - what is old does not disappear, it resurfaces in an altered form. The adaptive and transformable nature of paper is used to show these flowing movements, turning it into something new just as water seems to do so naturally. Each of the three lights are imagined as a different part of the water cycle, including evaporation, rain and crashing waves to illustrate the variety of ways earth reuses water. The flickering Illumination enhances the visibility of thin, textured surfaces, revealing fibers, edges, and variations in density, and as the structures glisten, it mimics the way sunlight filters through oceans, creating depth, movement, and subtle shifts in shadow. Like the endless cycle of water through Earth, Cirrus demonstrates how materials can be renewed through imagination.
