Composed of clustered cubes, this light fixture was designed to promote cultural connection. Inspiration was taken from Israeli chef Assaf Granit and the cultural dishes he creates. The three-dimensional study explored the idea of mapping and intercultural connections through the use of nylon and metal to reflect different cultures coming together. Each cube resembles a culture, and the connection of culture is illuminated by the glowing light that shines through the joined cubes. The resulting shadow emitted from the light fixture reveals the intricacy and glory of cultural connectivity.
