Countless people share a common experience of staring outside and recognizing things and patterns within the clouds. By casually gazing at the sky, people experience this phenomenon of pareidolia, a natural response of seeing shapes in an abstract space. To mimic the activity of cloud watching, this project calls attention to visible formations that are left to be interpreted by the viewer. Within the theme Bound by Light, the light creates a sensation connecting the viewer to the experience of cloud watching. The light pans from left to right to stimulate movement of the clouds as well as persuade the viewer to look throughout the sky.
