I am inspired by the Trataka meditation techniques using Candle that I learned in Highschool. The basic idea was to focus on one point. We need to go through a couple of steps to achieve the ultimate focus. 1: Focus on the over the aspect of the surrounding environment ( Like the shadows on the ceiling and over glow) 2: Focus on how the light is affected by the material of the fins and see a different kind of texture. 3: Focus on the over glow on the lamp head. 4: Ultimately focus on the brightest point on the lamp and keep the eyes. Now you can keep your eyes open or you can close and focus on the after image of the brightest point. This will help boost concentration, memory, and mood. Traditionally we use Candle flame. But I wanted to achieve this without actual flame which would cause the fire hazard. Here I played with Light, shadow, and materiality along with my memories of the meditation with Diya ( also known as a candle). This is the ultimate description of "Tantric Focus Lamp"
