This model explores how color and light transform the emotional and sensory impact of the material surface of a brick wall. The hearth is the center of the home, a space of warmth and gathering. Warm orange light creates a feeling of cozy interiority, contrasting with the blue of a night sky that lights behind the wall. The model was created entirely from scraps and remnants of other projects.
