I chose Evocative Luminance as the theme of my work. We spend every waking moment of our lives with light. My design solution therefore attempts to visualize this vital energy source by creating a dynamic effect between light and man-made acrylic. A bio-inspired laser-engraved pattern is seen only when illuminated (not unlike flowers which come to life at sunrise) as the light continuously fluctuates and amplifies this life force.
